Capabilities
With this system, youll know automatically without checking a monitor that there is an obstacle behind your car. The parking sensors send a message to the controller, which sounds the buzzer to alert you of something behind your vehicle. This system works for Cars, SUVs, vans, trucks, RVs, and all commercial trucks (class 1-9)
How It Works
Whenever you put your car in reverse, the 4 parking sensors on the back bumper will bounce ultrasonic waves off any obstacles behind your vehicle. If waves are detected bouncing back, the controller receives that message and it sounds the buzzer. When obstacles are further away, the system makes intermittent beeps. The beeps become more frequent as you move closer to the object, and finally, when you are only 1 foot away from it, a continuous alarm sounds. System is only active when your car is in reverse gear.
